The Story & Vibe
Join us on Sunday, November 22nd, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:10 p.m. at the Slope Roof, Sabha Blr, for an intriguing performance of "Bhima." This play dives deep into the life of Bhima, the second Pandava, exploring the complexities of his character through a modern lens. What does it mean to be a hero today? Is Bhima just a loyal family man, or does he strive for individuality beyond societal roles? With a blend of traditional Koodiyattam and contemporary dialogue, this performance uses music and poetry to challenge our perceptions of masculinity in the modern world. Directed by Anitha Santhanam and featuring the talents of Vivek Vijayakumaran and Sachin Gurjale, "Bhima" promises to be a thought-provoking experience that resonates with both the heart and mind. Don't miss this chance to engage with a fresh narrative that connects ancient tales to contemporary life! 🎭
