The Story & Vibe
Welcome to Pint of View, Bangalore's unique blend of learning and leisure! Picture this: a cozy pub setting where curious minds gather over drinks to explore fascinating topics, from space exploration to cultural insights. This week, join us for an intriguing lecture titled "The Brain’s GPS—What can AI learn from the brain?" Dr. Sarthak Chandra will take you on a journey through the hippocampus, the brain's memory hub, revealing how it organizes memories in a way that AI can't quite replicate. Discover the magic of grid cells and learn why our memory system is so much more efficient than current technology. Plus, you'll get to engage in a lively Q&A session and mingle with fellow attendees. Grab a complimentary freshly brewed beer or mocktail, and get ready for an evening of insightful discussion and connection. Join us at The Porcupine on October 14th, and walk away with a fresh pint of knowledge! 🍻
