The Story & Vibe
Animateur Ankur Dang, an accomplished opera singer and contralto, leads this workshop hosted by George Hull Atelier and Alliance Française in the beautiful French library of AF Hyderabad — demystifying opera for beginners and skeptics alike. We'll explore why it's more than high notes and volume, trace its presence in film and popular Indian cinema, and learn to tell a soprano from a contralto. Featuring listening sessions with legendary singers and composers like Mozart and Bizet, and a live demonstration of opera and French art song classics.
