This time, we’re diving into a pivotal moment in history with "Birth of a Nation," led by award-winning journalist Josy Joseph. Explore the dramatic weeks leading up to India's independence in 1947, when the future of the subcontinent was anything but certain. Discover how Sardar Patel and V. P. Menon navigated complex negotiations with princely states, and learn about the behind-the-scenes decisions that shaped a nation. With insights drawn from newly accessible archives, Josy will share the untold stories that could have altered the map of South Asia forever. Come for the fascinating history, stay for a complimentary freshly brewed beer or mocktail, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere at Maize & Malt.
