Whispers from the Veil: A Victorian Séance Experience (Fri. Oct 30)

Step into the enchanting world of the 1920s with "Whispers from the Veil," an immersive séance experience set in the historic William Hickling Prescott House. Join us as we explore the captivating intersection of grief, mystery, and scientific curiosity that once captivated Boston society, all led by the charismatic Mina Crandon, known as "The Witch of Lime Street," portrayed by the talented Laura Rocklyn. Prepare for an evening filled with dim lights, eerie rappings, and otherworldly phenomena that left even the great Harry Houdini baffled. After the performance, you’ll have the unique opportunity to engage in an interactive Q&A with Mina herself—ask her about her spirit guide Walter and her rivalry with Houdini! As a bonus, don’t miss the pop-up exhibit showcasing 19th-century mourning attire, offering a haunting glimpse into how families honored their loved ones in a time when death was a frequent visitor. This unforgettable evening promises to be a fascinating journey into the unknown!
