Les vies juives de Belleville

Join us for an engaging journey through the vibrant Jewish history of Belleville, from the Yiddish community before the Holocaust to the Sephardic influences after the decolonizations in North Africa. This guided tour will take you through the heart of Bas Belleville, where you'll discover synagogues, Holocaust memorials, and the fading shops of Tunisian Jewish heritage, all while enjoying stunning views from the Belleville belvedere. Led by Clément, this tour is part of a series exploring Jewish history, including a separate focus on the plundering of Jewish individuals by Vichy and the Nazis from 1940 to 1944. Each tour stands alone, so feel free to join just this one! (Note: Be prepared for some stairs along the way!)
