ANCXSTRAL FREQUENCIES

Join us for ANCXSTRAL FREQUENCIES, a captivating four-part live performance series that weaves together sound, ritual, movement, and storytelling to create a powerful collective experience centered on feminist memory, resistance, and ancestral healing. Set in the vibrant 20nine30 studio in Berlin, this series runs on September 19, October 3, October 17, and October 31, 2026. Led by artists RUSNAM and Anguezomo Nze Mba Bikoro, along with guest artists from the Global South, each session invites you to immerse yourself in a unique sonic landscape that blends traditional instruments, archival sounds, and somatic rituals. Expect an interactive atmosphere where you can engage fully, not just observe. With a focus on healing and resistance, these performances challenge historical narratives through the voices of queer, BIPoC, and migrant artists. Best of all, it's free and open to everyone! Just register online for your ticket, and enjoy a space that’s accessible and supportive. Plus, recorded sessions will be broadcast on Refuge Worldwide, so you can keep the experience alive long after the event. Come ready to connect and explore! 🎶
