Welcome on Board – New Student Representatives Workshop – Wellington

Congratulations on your election! 🎉 Join us for the "Welcome on Board" workshop, designed specifically for new student representatives in Wellington. This is your chance to dive into the ins and outs of school boards, helping you feel right at home in your new role. You’ll learn about the role of school boards, how they collaborate with principals, and the basics of board meetings. Plus, we’ll tackle the common challenges you might face as a student representative and discuss the support available to you. Before you come, it’s a good idea to check out your board’s policies and our articles on Roles & Responsibilities in the Resource Centre. Can’t make it? No worries! We have other sessions available, or feel free to reach out to us for more information. We can’t wait to see you there!
