The Story & Vibe
Dive into the whimsical world of surrealist cinema at our Surrealism Weekend! 🎥 Join us at Angala in Bengaluru on October 10, 2026, for a captivating double feature that will take you on a journey through the bizarre and the beautiful. First up is "City of Pirates" by Raul Ruiz, where a melancholic maidservant encounters a murderous little boy and embarks on a surreal adventure to a pirate island, meeting a man with multiple personalities along the way. Then, experience the twisted romance of "The Obscure Object of Desire" by Luis Bunuel, where a wealthy man recounts his tumultuous relationship with a fiery flamenco dancer, filled with deception and desire. This screening wraps up our two-month curation based on member recommendations, making it a perfect outing for film lovers and groups alike. Don’t miss this unique cinematic experience!
