The Story & Vibe
Join us on Tuesday, December 1st, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Alliance Française Auckland for a delightful evening of French cinema! We're excited to present "Saint Jacques... La Mecque," a charming road movie by Coline Serreau that follows three estranged siblings on a humorous pilgrimage to claim their inheritance. As they trek hundreds of miles to the shrine at Saint-Jacques de Campostella, they discover that faith in oneself can blossom through shared challenges. After the screening, stick around for an engaging discussion with a cinema expert who will dive deeper into the film's themes and insights. Tickets are just $5 for AF Members and $10 for non-members, which includes drinks and nibbles. With limited seating for only 20 guests, it’s a cozy setting for a memorable night! Don’t miss out! 🍿✨
