The Story & Vibe
Join us for a captivating guided tour of the historic Temple Church in Bristol! This remarkable late medieval church, with its iconic leaning tower and walls, has stood the test of time, even surviving WWII bombings. Originally built by the Knights Templar to protect pilgrims, the church's fascinating history is marked by the outline of its original round shape on the ground. Our enthusiastic volunteers will lead you through this intriguing site, sharing stories and insights that bring the past to life. Whether you're a history buff or just curious, you'll find plenty to enjoy. Remember to book your spot in advance—it's free for English Heritage members, and just £10 for non-members, while under-18s can join in for free. Plus, feel free to bring your dog along on a lead! Please arrive 10 minutes early to meet inside the church, and do note that there are no toilet facilities on site. Parking details can be found on the English Heritage website. We can't wait to see you there!
