The Story & Vibe

Join us for a delightful walking tour of Peachtree Heights East, where history and charm come together! Hosted by the Atlanta Preservation Center and Buckhead Heritage, this family-friendly adventure will take you through a picturesque neighborhood that dates back to 1909. As you stroll, you’ll uncover fascinating stories of former residents like movie star Susan Hayward and the first female U.S. Congresswoman, Helen Douglas Mankin. Marvel at the diverse architectural styles of around 330 homes, from cozy Craftsman Bungalows to modern designs. Plus, don’t miss a stop at the lovely duck pond, a serene spot teeming with birdlife. The tour lasts about 1.5 hours, so wear comfy shoes and get ready to soak in the beauty and history of this unique Atlanta gem! Just remember, tickets are required, and no walkups are allowed. We can't wait to see you there! 🦆🌳
