The Story & Vibe

Join us for the Poetry Film Festival in Bristol, where the magic of poetry meets the art of film! Experience a curated selection of stunning films from the International Poetry Film Competition, along with the Audience Award winner. Dive deeper into the world of poetry films with an engaging panel discussion featuring talented poets and filmmakers like Helen Foster, Panya Banjoko, Shelley Tracey, and Chaucer Cameron. Plus, don’t miss an exclusive prerecorded interview with BAFTA-award-winning screenwriter and poet Dean Atta, followed by the screening of his powerful work, *Two Black Boys in Paradise*. There will be plenty of time for lively discussions and connecting with fellow poetry lovers while enjoying the beautiful harbor views. If you're looking to get hands-on, consider booking the separate workshop, "Carrying Stories Across a Threshold," with Sally Bayley and Suzie Hanna. (Note: The venue does not have step-free access.)
