The Story & Vibe
Join us for an inspiring evening at the Santa Monica Symphony's concert, "Voices of Justice," where music becomes a powerful voice for change. Experience Damien Geter’s impactful Justice Symphony, which unites orchestra and choir to explore themes of equity, dignity, and our shared humanity. This performance pays tribute to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., reminding us of the vital role music plays in advocating for justice. The program features Geter’s compelling works alongside Florence Price’s beautiful Andante moderato for string orchestra. You’ll also hear moving pieces like "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize" and "Precious Lord, Take My Hand," performed by the talented Julia Sapeta and the Azusa Pacific University Chamber Singers, under the direction of Michelle Jensen. Best of all, this concert is free! Just remember to arrive early for the best seating, as it’s first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:00 PM. Don’t miss this chance to experience music that resonates with purpose and passion! 🎶
