The Story & Vibe
Join us for the "Kantha Stitching on Handmade Fabric Paper" workshop, a fun two-part experience where you'll transform fabric waste into beautiful art! 🌟 In the first session, you’ll create unique paper from fabric pulp, setting the stage for your artistic journey. The following weekend, dive into stitching with simple Kantha-inspired techniques, layering patterns and designs onto your dried paper. Once you’ve finished stitching, you’ll frame your masterpiece, ready to take home and show off! No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a desire to create. This workshop celebrates sustainability and the joy of making, all inspired by the rich Bengali tradition of Nokshi Kantha. Choose between two weekend options to get started on your creative adventure!
