The Story & Vibe

Ready for a spooky adventure in Montreal? Join us for the Mont-Royal hanté, a lantern-lit hike that takes you through the eerie side of Mount Royal! Starting from the vibrant Plateau Mont-Royal, you’ll explore haunted sites where ghosts have been spotted, all while a professional comedian and storyteller shares chilling tales of spirits, mysteries, and local legends. Expect to hear about the haunted hospitals, abandoned castles, and the tragic story of Jack McLean and his ghostly funicular. You’ll even visit the recently disturbed tomb of Simon McTavish, whose furious ghost is said to race down the mountain in his coffin! This 90-minute hike is perfect for history buffs and thrill-seekers alike, but be prepared for some moderate climbs and dimly lit paths. Don’t forget your sturdy walking shoes and a flashlight! Meet us at Place Fletcher's Field in Jeanne-Mance Park, and get ready for an unforgettable evening of ghostly exploration! 👻
