Get ready for a spine-tingling evening with "Ghost Stories for Christmas!" Join Edwyrdian Tales as they weave three chilling tales under the twinkling lights of a festive Christmas tree. This year, you'll hear haunting stories from classic authors like H.R. Wakefield and Algernon Blackwood, plus an original tale crafted by our storyteller. Experience the eerie “Lucky’s Grove,” where a family's Christmas tree brings unexpected terror; “The Wendigo,” a haunting tale of a lonely hunting party in the dark woods; and “The Elder Son,” where a father's attempt at the perfect gift leads to regret. Directed and performed by Matthew Wood, this one-man show promises to conjure the spirits of Christmas in the cozy setting of The Helen Duncan Room at the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre. Just a short walk from Haymarket, this intimate performance is perfect for those looking for a unique holiday experience. Doors open at 7 PM, with the show starting at 7:30 PM.
