The Story & Vibe
✅ Empower Demo Day - Friday 23 October - Watch student founders pitch their ventures live ✅ Startup Showcase - Saturday 24 October
Startup Showcase - Presented by Mitti by SafetyCulture
Wrap up the year with the biggest celebration of student innovation at UQ Ventures.
The Startup Showcase brings together students, founders and industry leaders for two days of ideas, inspiration and entrepreneurship. It's your chance to see what students across our programs, from Curiosity and Validate to LeadHers and Empower, have been building throughout the year.
Join us on Friday night on October 23 as Empower Demo Day opens this year’s Startup Showcase. Be among the first to see our latest founders take the stage, pitching their startups live for the very first time.
Then on Saturday 24 October, dive into a full day of founder talks, workshops and networking opportunities, all designed to help students take their next step. The program is shaped by students, for students, with sessions focused on real stories, practical insights and actionable advice.
Featured sessions include Starting Before You're Ready, with CitrusAd founder Brad Moran in conversation with Yarra Kiseleva (Seatfinder), Billy Jeremijenko (Aquila) and Adeep Mitra (Khotan). View the announced lineup here.
